Nelly Korda has more skills in her arsenal than the world knows. After pairing up with John Waldron at the Seminole Pro Member, Korda donned the hat of a professional chauffeur for her sister. That’s also another reason, perhaps the key reason—why the Bradenton resident flew to Palm Beach County. To meet her sister, Jessica Korda, and the newborn.

The 10-time LPGA Tour winner didn’t take long after her T22 finish at Juno Beach to reach her sister’s home. Korda, in an earlier interview, revealed that she traveled “like a hobo” wearing a hoodie to avoid eyeballs. She only needed a cap this time, however.

Nelly Korda was in the driver’s seat wearing a TaylorMade cap while her sister was lounging in the backseat. Jessica Korda shared the clip on her Instagram story captioning, “My new role – back seat Princess. Aunty Nelly’s new role.” Nelly Korda, too, rehashed that clip from her official handle, writing, “Chauffer reporting for duty.” Later she also posted a photo with Korda’s son, Greyson John DelPrete.

The six-time LPGA Tour winner welcomed her newborn on Monday, February 3, becoming the first mom on Tour this year. Jessica Korda took a break last May for rehab. Later in August, she announced that she and her husband, Johnny DelPrete, were expecting a baby in February.

Nelly Korda, though, has no complaints about her new duty. In fact, she was rather excited about the possibility of ‘spoiling’ the newcomer. When the elder Korda announced the date, the one-time Major winner jumped to the comment section, writing, “CANT WAIT TO SPOIL THE SHEEEEET OUTTA YOU GREYSON.” Makes one wonder, what tricks Korda had in mind, considering she was a rather quiet kid in her childhood and adolescent days.

Nelly Korda was a nerd?

None other than, her sister Jessica Korda revealed a well-kept secret about her sister. Speaking to veteran sportswriter, Alan Shipnuck, the elder Korda said that her sister was sort of a nerd. She was the one who liked staying at home, studying for the courses. She did all the homework, even. The new mother never understood how she could do it.

Nevertheless, they were ‘built-in best buddy’ as Jessica Korda said in the podcast. That has also been evident multiple times before on and off the course. The 31-year-old once called the World No. 2 her “best friend.” Nelly Korda, too, gushed about her sister, sounding grateful for the support and mentorship she got early on. Career goals, clearly, haven’t come their way, as hasn’t the distance between Bradenton and Palm Beach.
