Nelly Korda left no stones unturned in making the most of this year. Adding to her never-ending list of achievements, Nelly has now become the only golfer this year to feature on the Forbes sports list of 30 under 30; a remarkable achievement indeed.

Nelly Korda adds another feather in her cap
Korda’s excellence is not limited to the golf world alone. No, she is now a household name and we’re pretty sure there’s no going back from this latest accomplishment. Earning a spot on the exclusive list, her name sits beside some of the biggest and brightest stars in the world of sports.

This includes water polo athlete Ashleigh Johnson, basketball player Devin Booker, swimmer Simone Manuel, and gymnast Sunisa Lee. Previously, LPGA stars Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, and Inbee Park have also starred on the list.

A fantastic season for the 23-year-old
She started off her scintillating season by bagging the title at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio. Following that were two consecutive wins, first at the Meijer LPGA Classic and then, perhaps the highlight of her career, her first major title at the Women’s PGA Championship.

Not to forget, she scripted history by winning gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she was representing the United States. She spent the majority of this year as the number one ranked golfer, mostly in competition with fellow golfer Jin Young Ko, who she also lost the Player of the Year race to. However, she concluded her fantastic season with a win at the Pelican Women’s Championship last year.
