The younger Korda sister joined the LPGA circuit back in 2017, and immediately started setting standards on the Tour. She finished in the top 10 at five events, ranked second owing to her ‘eagles,’ and landed in third at the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year standings. She even managed a third position for her incredulous performance on par-5s with a 4.5 average.

In the following years, Korda managed to increase the count of her top 10 finishes. In 2018 and 2019, the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship became her arena to claim and reclaim her title. She played at the Solheim Cup in 2019 and 2021. Apart from that, in 2021, she won 4 events on the LPGA Tour, including a Major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. After COVID-19, the Pelican Women’s Championship became her winning tournament in 2021 and 2022.

Despite being one of the most spectacularly active golfers on the LPGA circuit and earning her World No. 1 titles repeatedly, Korda hasn’t claimed many Major titles on the tour. She did manage to claim several challenging titles, including earning her solo achievement at the Aramco Team Series against miserable weather conditions.

Her performance through time, even during her amateur years, has been remarkable, yet she struggles with claiming Major titles. She is only 25 years old and has a lot of time to still win a lot of Major Tournaments. The 2022-23 season, however, saw no Major wins being added to Korda’s resume.

How she will fair going ahead, only time will tell. But one thing is for sure, Korda has managed to set standards and propagate the cause of women’s golf, and through her enduring performances and hardwork, the LPGA Tour certainly has had a stream of limelight and awareness on the world map.
