The LPGA Cover Girl, Nelly Korda, is one of the most followed and revered golfers on the women’s tour. Her remarkable skills on the greens are undoubtedly the main attraction, but it is her resilience, willpower, sense of self, striking smile, and good heart that win over fans every time.

In the recent past, the 25-year-old golfer has faced disappointment on multiple counts, including losing her World No. 1 Rolex rank to Lilla Vu at the last opportunity to claim a Major title. Instead of reeling from the loss, the LPGA phenomenon focused on bettering herself and helping a former LPGA star rebuild a community in dire need.

The younger Korda sister has been ‘keeping things interesting’ lately with a change of routine. Immersing herself in the road to fitness, practicing her swings relentlessly, and experimenting with new equipment are all her personal goals. However, she has a selfless nature as well, which has been evident through times when she showed unconditional love for animals, helped people, and most recently, showed her support for Michelle Wie West’s cause.

The Hawaiin golfer has been requesting help and doing everything in her power to assist in the recovery of the island of Maui since the unfortunate wildfire. Now, she has designed an elegant gold bracelet with a small, diamond-studded Hawaiin flower. The Ho’omau, as the bracelet is fondly named, is available for purchase, and the entire profit goes towards rebuilding the community of Maui. The design of the accessory reflects hope and resilience in the face of adversity.

Nelly Korda shared the incredible message with her fans on her Instagram story, expressing her good wishes to Maui and supporting her former LPGA cohort. She captioned it with two hearts surrounding “Maui,” showing her love for the people and her hope that her fans will help out.

While Collin Morikawa, Jena Sims, and several other celebrities have contributed to the cause, Big Wiesy continues to garner as much support as possible for the distressed community.

Aside from Nelly Korda’s support of Michelle Wie West’s cause, PGA Tour pro Collin Morikawa has also expressed affluent support for the community. He donated $1000 for every single birdie he made during the first FedEx Cup playoffs. It is uncertain if he meant only at St. Judes or the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship as well. Regardless, his efforts were commendable.

Another PGA Tour star to contribute to the efforts is Xander Schauffele. Even golf commentator Mark Rolfing spoke about the need to assist the Maui community in getting back on their feet. Several manufacturers of golf equipment and sponsors have also come forward to make donations and show their support. It is inspiring to see these big names trying to selflessly spread awareness of those in need in these trying times.
