This year’s “The Match” is the first of its kind, with teammates from two different sports going against each other: Steph Curry/Klay Thompson vs. Patrick Mahomes/Travis Kelce. Steph Curry is arguably the most experienced player out of the four competing in the Match. The 35-year-old has played the sport since he was a child and has even competed on the Korn Ferry Tour! However, his Golden State Warriors teammate, Klay Thompson, isn’t a novice golfer either, as evidenced by a clip from the competition.

On Thursday, the Warriors shared a video of Thompson’s beautiful swing on Twitter. The video was later shared by the PGA Tour’s official Twitter page with the caption, “Thoughts on @KlayThompson‘s swing (and twirl)?

In a short period of time, the video has received well over 80k views, and fans have also given their two cents about the 4-time NBA champion’s skills.

Klay Thompson’s display of golfing skills has drawn varied reactions from fans on Twitter. Some have heaped praise on the 33-year-old, considering he is fairly new to it.

However, it is his unique “twirl” that seems to have become the talk of the town. Many have even drawn comparisons to 4-time major winner Jordan Spieth, who is also well-known for his epic club twirl.

Meanwhile, several fans seem to be worried about Thompson-Curry’s chances at the event. One even shared that the more experienced Curry would have to do the duo’s bidding in the event.
