Tiger Woods will play in Capital One’s The Match, an exhibition event, at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida from December 10. As his fans, most of the golf world will be looking forward to seeing him tee off. However, a question still lingers among the fans; will he make a proper comeback soon through an official event?

Woods revealed through a press interview at the Hero World Challenge that he is confident with his game. However, what concerns him the most is walking the 72 holes. The golfer even claimed that once his legs start responding the way he wants to, he “can still compete with these kids.”

However, the former NBA star and a huge golf lover Charles Barkley disagrees with him. And he revealed it through a Sirius XM radio interview.

Charles Barkley wants Tiger Woods to play on the Champions Tour

The PGA Tour Champions or the Champions Tour is the Tour that conducts golf tournaments in America for players aged above 50. Tiger Woods is only 46 years old now. However, Barkley thinks he will be more suitable to play in the Senior events than the regular PGA Tour championships.

“It is going to be very difficult to compete with those young kids anyway,” Barkley said about Woods playing against the new generation players. “And you factor in his injuries… I think the biggest question is going to be if he is gonna play on the Champions Tour?”
