Over the years, the sport of golf has seen legends from other domains display their golfing abilities to the world. One of the best examples can be related to NBA legend Charles Barkley. The Hall of Famer recently gave props to his long-time rival Michael Jordan and golf legend Tiger Woods, for their attitude on the golf course.

Barkley has participated in many pro-am tournaments in recent years. Though initially many mocked him for his poor drive, he had eventually gotten better with his swing skills.

During a recent quick interview posted on Golf Digest’s Twitter handle, the Inside the NBA analyst was asked various questions related to the sport of golf. His witty answers with a pinch of great insight information are surely worth watching.

For what did Barkley choose Tiger Woods and Charles Barkley?

In the interview, the 1993 NBA MVP was asked various questions regarding his competitors in golf in recent times. He was asked about who trash talks the most. “Nobody talks more trash than Michael Jordan,said Chuck.

However, he then adds that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson too have plenty to say while competing. “I got a lot of friends who talk a lot of trash on the golf course,” said Barkley. The Hall of Famer was then asked who is the most intimidating person he’s played golf with.

I think the first time I met Tiger, it was intimidating being around him”, he replied. Charles Barkley also labeled his long-time rival and friend Michael Jordan as intimidating. He said, “I’ll also say Michael.”

Chuck further added how both stars are unstoppable at their peak. He said, “I’ve been around other great players and big stars, but Michael and Tiger, when you around those guys, especially at their peak of their superpowers, people absolutely lost their mind.”

Both Woods and Jordan are known to be the greatest in their respective sports. Tiger has 82 professional wins to his name which also include 15 Major titles, while Michael Jordan has six NBA titles.

Moreover, both legends are close friends and have been teammates in many pro-am golf events in the past. A team of Woods-Jordan would surely be intimidating, filled with top talent and trash talk. Perhaps no one would know it better than Charles Barkley himself.
