The sporting world saw an amazing display of basketball during the opening match of the 2023-24 NBA season. Moreover, the iconic performance in the contest between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers turned a lot of heads. And, at the center of attention was Anthony Davis.
However, the NBA star wasn’t able to steer the Lakers to victory against the Nuggets which boasted Nikola Jokic. While the fans of the latter continue in their celebration, a similar situation can’t be expected of the former’s supporters. And, expressing his dissatisfaction was none other than Max Homa, who turned out to be an ardent follower of LA!

The match that took place a little while ago saw Denver beat Los Angeles 119-107 enabling them to start the new season in fashion. And leading them was Jokic who finished the game with 29 points including 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Following the match, Rob Perez, popularly known as World Wide Wob, shared a tweet on his social media handle mocking Davis, earning the ire of Homa.
In the post, the NBA Twitter King took a jab at the 30-year-old for his performance at the match. He mentioned how the Nuggets captain made light work of the opposition while hilariously pointing out how Jokic gave AD “a menu to choose how he wants to be scored on.”
However, this did not sit well with the professional golfer as he threatened the Underdog Fantasy host with his comment, “I?m gunna mute u.”?Well, he has every reason to get angry as the skipper of the Denvers has managed to average 19 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in a total of 21 games against rival Davis.

Some were brutal in their opinions of the Los Angeles Lakers. But the funny thing is that it was just the first match of the new season. There would be many chances for the team to prove themselves. However, this goes unseen by a hater.

Another follower asked the golfer, albeit hilariously, to leave the Lakers and be a fan of the Utah Jazz. However, it stands to see whether Homa would actually leave them. Chances are very very low though.
