Curry, who actually started dabbling in golf at the age of 10 and now has a handicap of +1, had a magnificent hole-in-one at the event. The feat came in the second round of the tournament as he unleashed the magic shot at the seventh hole from 152 yards out, to the great astonishment of onlookers. It is no wonder that to date Curry is stunned and loves to talk about what he did! Golf on CBS took to Twitter to share his video with the caption, “I basically blacked out” @StephenCurry30’s hole-in-one at the @ACChampionship was unreal.”

In the video, we can see Curry enthuse: “Even if you hit a shot and it’s right on line, like the odds of it going in are slim to none.” The American professional basketball player further revealed that when the shot turned out that way, he was stunned and started sprinting. He ran toward the hole to celebrate like there was no tomorrow. “I basically blacked out,” said the athlete. Finally, he concluded by saying, “[his NBA exploits] versus hole-in-one it’s different.”

Regarded as one of the greatest shooters of all time in NBA, it was the Golden State Warriors star’s second hole-in-one in his golfing career. To put things in perspective, some professional golfers play all their life but never once they experience the thrill of an ace.

Stephen Curry wrapped it up with an eagle

Curry was at 50 points after the second round ended. In the third round, Curry sank a long putt on hole 18 which earned him an eagle. This also increased his points by 6 — please note the scoring system for the event is different than that of a professional golf event — and in total he finished with 75 points.
