The Ryder Cup is just a few months away and Luke Donald is the Europe Team captain. For the 2023 tournament, there is a good chance that the skipper may select some new faces for his 12-man team. He appears to have decided on eight players for his team. However, there are still four more to pick.

Given how well Aberg has recently competed, he is already on Donald’s radar and on his wishlist too, as per reports. According to Golf Central, this was the 23-year-old golfer’s power-packed audition in front of Donald right before the Ryder Cup.

“That, my friends, is how you nail your Ryder Cup audition! After 36 holes alongside Euro captain @LukeDonald, Ludvig Aberg is a shot off the Rocket Mortgage Classic lead: bit.ly/44rmcyt,” it wrote.

However, for Aberg to qualify for the Ryder Cup, he has to be in Donald’s picks — the captain can make a call on six picks. The final word on the selection of these players will come out on September 4. The tournament kicks off on September 29 and goes on till October 01.
