Woods got married to Elin Nordegren in 2004. But the two could not work things out and got separated in 2010. The ex-couple has two kids together, Sam and Charlie. Woods and Nordegren have been trying to take the best care of them and have also made peace with their situation.

But Woods’ half-brother, Woods Jr., was not ready to stay out of the matter. He made a few statements about how Tiger Woods “blew” his relationship with Nordegren. He said, “My dad rested pretty easily knowing Tiger would be married to Elin, but he blew that.”

Woods Jr. also added that their father, Earl Woods Sr., was “really connected” to Elin Nordegren and had accepted her as a loved member of their family. Woods Jr. also made comments about the golfer’s relationship with his kids. He said, “He’ll never have the same relationship with his kids.”

Nordegren was in an interview with People Magazine, where she talked about her divorce publicly. She said, “I have moved on and I am in a good place. My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good–we really are–and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father.”

Nordegren also mentioned that she initially went through a rough patch after their divorce. But it was for the best for their children as well as themselves to heal through the situation and work things out together. Woods and Nordegren are both giving their kids the best parenting they can and wish to continue doing so for a long time.
