The LPGA legend Michelle Wie West has great taste in music and as she has said on previous occasions, is one of the biggest fans of the American boy band NSYNC. The band consisted of Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone and enjoyed much success in the 90s and early 2000s. But in 2007 the group broke.
However, they have been announced to be reuniting for a new song “Better Place” for the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film Trolls Band Together. After the news surfaced, fans who used to listen to the band in the early days have been sharing love. This is their first song in 20 years.
Even West herself shared one of the news reports by E News of the announcement in her Instagram stories and wrote, “This is not a drill millennials.” The full song will be released on Sept. 29. Parts of the song are featured in the new Trolls Band Together trailer. The announcement came hours after the band reunited at the 2023 MTV VMAs Tuesday.

Last year after her retirement West got lucky enough to meet Lance Bass from the band. Speaking about her fan girl moment, West revealed in an episode of a podcast with Golf Sub Par’s Colt and Drew, “I met Lance Bass last weekend. I was a couple of cocktails in, but I almost cried… wish I could do that moment again.” West said that she was fully freaked out by the experience.

She added, “I turn around, and it’s Lance Bass, and I’m like, ‘oh my god’, and I fully just freaked out…my 10-year-old self came back out again, and I felt like my heart was gonna beat out of his chest”.
West revealed that she even asked for a picture and the singer nicely obliged. Other than Bass Wie West has also met another band member Justin Timberlake whom she adores as a singer.
