Don Rea stated that if Brooks Koepka qualifies through points, he doesn’t see why he could not represent America at the international Ryder Cup stage.

“We liked the ecosystem before, there is no doubt about that,” stated the PGA VP. But this does not mean that they are not open up for a change. The PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup are the association’s most revered assets. They are the ones that generate the most revenue. Thus, at the end of the day, the PGA just wants to make sure that everything is in positive accordance for the two events.
He reiterated that “for the people who are out there to pontificate that we are somehow gonna construct a situation in which these guys cannot play, I think that is just false”.
