Months After Saving His Hard-Earned Green Jacket from a Huge Accident, Jon Rahm Makes an Honest Confession About It

And 2023 Masters Champion Jon Rahm made an honest revelation about his ”Green Jacket”.

Rahm won the 2023 Masters, where he defeated Brooks Koepka. This win brought him a huge $3.24 million prize and the prestigious green jacket. With this victory, he joined the elite group of golfers in history. Right now he is preparing for the Ryder Cup, as he has already secured a place in the European Ryder Cup team via the European points list.

He was invited to the Golf Digest podcast channel ”The Loop”. There he talked about the Ryder Cup, his favorite drinking story, and his partnership with Maestro Dobel Tequila. At one point, he even talked about his green jacket. And it is not like a regular inspirational story. 

Rahm admitted it had been a while since he last glanced at his green jacket. He has the jacket in his closet but occasionally he forgets about it. ”But I… I’m not gonna lie a lot of times I forget. And I walk by and I see them. Yeah. that happened,” said the Spaniard. ”I’m grabbing shoes because right next to the shoes and just kind of catches me.” Rahm also went on to make a shocking revelation.

Rahm was invited to appear on “The Pat McAfee Show” after receiving the jacket. There he talked about his Green Jacket and how it was almost ruined by his toddler. Rahm then brought up the incident in its entirety.
