Morris had the heartwarming habit of tagging all his text messages with three hearts. They were a happy congregation of red, yellow, and green hearts. In his memory, Michael Sims has crafted a specialized hat consisting of his signature three hearts. It was truly a fulfilling sight to see his cousin present this heartfelt gift to Morris.

Michael Sims said, “Brian was a lot of things; he exuded love and a vibrance of living. He was actually my cousin…Everybody around here loved him. He had the greatest sense of humor and told the greatest stories. He lived a life. And that’s kind of how this hat and the three hearts kind of came about. So he signs off every text message with the three hearts like this one love…It’s just a good memory of him, and it just always feels like he’s there with you.”

Sims was seen remembering the skilled professional golfer recently. He talked about all the happiness Morris imparted to the lives of people around him. The 44-year-old also explained the concept behind his launch of the three-heart golfing caps. Truly, Morris has been an inspiration to many, both in life and in death. Apart from being an iconic golfer, Morris also showed great determination as he fought with cancer.

Morris’s fight against cancer

Brian Morris truly had an undying zest for life. His lionhearted fight against cancer inspired many. The golf world sensation fought bravely against cancer for years. He underwent chemotherapy once every three weeks for more than two years before his stage four terminal cancer consumed him.
