Taylor Swift is certainly among the greatest music artists today. Over the years, Swift has always made headlines because of her songs and the stories associated with them. However, there are occasions when Swift has made it into the limelight due debates and controversy because of her songs. One such incident happened when Swift released her song titled Anti-Hero, and it involved golf in a unique way.

The song went viral because of her lyrics. The song contained the words ‘tea time’ and the golf world took a big notice of it. The golf fans mistook the lyrics for “tee time’ and discussions happened whether Swift wrote a song about golf or not.

The Eras Tour is American singer-songwriter’s sixth concert tour. Having not toured for more than 3 years now for her albums Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), and Evermore (2020) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Swift is taking all these albums including her latest album Midnights (2022) to the Eras Tour.

This time Swift did not get herself into the limelight because of her controversial lyrics, but because of her actions during the event. During the Eras Tour, Swift performed with a glowing golf club in her left hand.

This unique way of performing surely added fuel to her already long going golf debate. People reacted in different ways to Swift’s glowing club gesture. However, golf reporter, Claire Rogers, took to her Twitter handle and asked something crucial.

After the video of Taylor Swift performing with a glowing club got viral, Rogers asked United States Golf Association (USGA) if they can add the glowing club to the official list. Rogers clearly asked if USGA can amend the existing rules and add glowing clubs to their conforming clubs list. While it was a scarce inquiry by Rogers, the fans did not hold back from letting out their views. Fans not only reacted in support of Rogers’ suggestion, but also against it.
