A spectacular start for Legion XIII GC! How else can we explain the debut that Jon Rahm and his new squad of LIV Golf Pros managed to dish out at Mayakoba a while back? The team managed to clinch a hard-earned victory in their first-ever appearance in the Saudi-backed league. But were the title and trophy all that they received?
Not even close. The golfing squad managed to take home a winner’s cut from the total prize pool of $5 million set aside for the team event as well. However, curiosity naturally arises about the total amount that the group of athletes managed to earn, both individually and as a group!

Although Legion XIII GC managed to rake in the $3 million winner’s cut for the team win, that’s just a part of the dollar bills they received. The individual placements of the athletes helped them card a separate cut from the individual prize pool of $20 million. Rahm was able to finish T3, Tyrrell Hatton at T8, Caleb Surratt at T13, and Kieran Vincent at T38.
The Spaniard, through his third-place finish, was able to take home an amount of $1,500,000. Meanwhile, the rest of his teammates, Hatton, Surratt, and Vincent, were able to garner $525,000, $340,000, and $140,000, respectively. Together, the total amount the team earned, along with their individual prizes, amounts to a whopping $5,505,000.
The data has been taken as per the earlier breakdown and may vary owing to the golfers sharing their position with other athletes on the scoreboard. Rahm finished the tournament tied with Dean Burmester, while Hatton finished alongside Louis Oosthuizen and Cameron Smith; Surratt with Sebastian Munoz; and Vincent with four other professionals, including Charl Schwartzel, Jinichiro Kozuma, David Puig, and Scott Vincent.

Regardless, a truly deserving reward for their first win on the PIF-funded circuit. However, as one takes a look at the numbers that they received as dollar bills, it is natural to become curious about the numbers they registered on the scoreboard as well.

A great start for the Rahm-led squad. Although the money he raked in via the win was but a meager amount as opposed to the figures he made while defecting to the tour, it is nevertheless a special one. His fans would eagerly be awaiting the next tournament!
