South Korea’s Tom Kim is slowly making his mark in the golf world. After giving a great performance at last week’s Scottish Open where he finished T6, Kim continued his stay in England. This week he is prepping for one of the biggest tournaments of his career so far, The Open Championship. And while the 21-year-old is practicing hard, the PGA Tour had a fun activity with the golfer to keep him entertained. The video of the game was shared by PGA Tour where Kim could be seen guessing the meanings of many British words.

Kim got half the words right but now and then he was also surprised by some new words. And his reaction was just priceless.

In the video, he correctly guessed that ‘Loo’ means bathroom, and ‘lift’ means elevator. However, he failed to understand ‘lorry’ which means truck, and ‘nappy’ which he thought was related to ‘nap’ but it actually means diaper. But he was quick to answer the meaning of ‘petro’ which is gas, and ‘queue’ which means ‘line’. He was quite confused by the British exclamation ‘Blimey’ which the interviewer explained to him, that it is used to show surprise. Kim responded he was ‘blimeyed’ to hear the word.

The next tough one was ‘Tom’s dishy’ which made Kim laugh. ‘I’m dishy, does that mean I’m sketch?’ he asked. The reporter replied, “It means that you are hot and attractive.” Tom looked pleased. “Okay, Am I dishy?” When the interviewer informed Kim that he didn’t do bad and guessed half the words correctly, Kim jokingly said, “Only half, shame. You English people are weird.” The activity gave Kim a fun break while preparing for the upcoming Open Championship.
