Brooks Koepka has proven his worth yet again after winning his second title on LIV Golf in Orlando. He is now the first player to have multiple wins in the league after defeating Sebastian Munoz with a one-shot victory. And soon after his big win, the four-time major winner shared a special message with all his fans on Twitter explaining how much the victory meant to him!
How did Brooks Koepka react to his second LIV Golf victory?
Infamous for his recent appearance in the PGA Tour’s Netflix docuseries, Koepka’s confidence seemed to have drowned to a great extent. Moreover, like many other players, fans heavily trolled the golfer for his controversial LIV Golf transition. But keeping his guard high, the golfer strongly defended his decision several times in interviews and media appearances, calling it his “opinion”.

However, fans were not sure if the golfer would be able to make it to the top again, assuming he had lost confidence in his competitive skills. But proving all his critics wrong, the golf star aced it at the LIV Golf Orlando event, winning $4 million as prize money. That will definitely act as a huge confidence booster for the player for his upcoming tournaments.
Explaining how great he felt about his victory, the golfer tweeted his honest feelings for his fans to know. “Means a lot to take home the trophy in Orlando, my home state, and Ricky’s backyard 🏆,” he wrote. “Feels good to be back on the podium and just the start for @smashgc. Thanks for the support this week!”
Well, there’s still a lot for the player to accomplish after his LIV Golf victory. And despite his “I don’t care” approach towards his critics, it looks like the player is back in his best form! For those who don’t know, Augusta National recently made an announcement allowing qualifying LIV Golf players to appear at the Masters Tournament. And no matter how upsetting the decision is for the PGA Tour professionals, they will be facing 18 LIV golf defectors on the field at the tournament. And Brooks Koepka is one of them!
Although his current OWGR position doesn’t justify his appearance at the event, his 2019 PGA Championship provides him an exemption for the tournament up till 2024.
