Patrick Reed, a crucial part of 4 Aces GC, earned the nickname “Captain America” thanks to his outstanding performances in three Ryder Cup appearances, including the 2016 U.S. victory at Hazeltine. His victory at the 2018 Masters was the pinnacle of his nine career victories. However, another achievement has been added to his highlight list, and his three-word message on Instagram tells the tale of his true feelings about it.

Patrick Reed is on cloud nine

On Sunday in Orlando, Brooks Koepka won his second LIV Golf solo championship, making history, and Torque GC won their first team championship. But Reed’s team, 4 Aces GC, was able to continue their domination. Despite not taking home a tournament crown, captain Dustin Johnson and his 4Aces GC squad remain in the lead in the overall team standings.

The 4Aces were once again the best players in the final round at LIV Golf Orlando. They shot a cumulative 15 under team score to end solo third at 34 under after a string of second-place finishes to open the season. Reed finished T-3 with Dean Burmester, and each earned $1,275,000. It was a moment of celebration, and Reed proved it. This year is going to be special for him. Players in the Saudi-backed LIV Tour have been banned from playing in PGA Tour events. However, they are welcome at Augusta, which means we’ll see former Masters champs, including Reed.

In his Instagram story, he was walking in slow motion and wrote a three-word message expressing his enthusiasm. He wrote, “another podium baby!!!.” It was enough to tell that Reed was psyched. And now the next level is Masters Tournament. When it comes to the biggest event, Reed had some views on that as well. He wants a LIV golfer to win Masters this year. He said, “If you’re able to go out and win, it brings a boost not only to yourself but to the league and the team that you’re on,” he told reporters ahead of the third LIV Golf event of 2023.

One difference caught their attention as Reed and Johnson were paired together the last year. The par-5 13th course proved to be the most challenging. The “Azalea,” also known as the 13th course, was 510 yards long last year and will be even longer this year.
