The genius young golfer has more than enough followers in the golf world owing to his amazing skills and his father’s fame. This was the case even with Grant Horvat who took to The Rick Shiels Golf Show to narrate an experience he had with the two golfers.

Recounting an incident that occurred at the Medalist Golf Club, which is home to the GOAT of the game, Horvat mentioned how he got to play with the 82-time PGA Tour winner. He went ahead to talk about the “special” memory of playing with “a certain high profile player” and “his son” who seemed to play there, hinting at the legend of the game.

The YouTube star made sure to mention how he became friendly with Charlie during his play at the Medalist. Continuing with his experience, the internet sensation said, “We’ve been able to play a couple of times together and I got to hang out with… the dad of that son” all the while implying that he got to play with the 15-time major winner and his genius son.

The spotlight fell on the 47-year-old and his son amidst the news of a potential comeback. The 1997 Masters Tournament champ made the headlines when he was rumored to be making an appearance at the upcoming Nexus Cup.

The 2023 Nexus Cup will be taking place at the Liberty National in New Jersey and the Hall of Famer is all set to grace the venue with his presence. A recent post on Instagram by twspot, a fan community dedicated to the legend, showed his clubs assorted within his golf bag at the course.

The golfer was seen on the course ahead of the tournament which is said to be the ‘ultimate amateur golf experience’. Moreover, Woods had earlier mentioned how it would be very enjoyable for the teams to participate in the tournament since it is a course that has hosted playoff events and a Presidents Cup in 2017.
