Rory McIlroy’s PGA Tour missing news has left golf enthusiasts itching for his return. The 26X PGA Tour winner was MIA from Hawaiian tournaments this year. Now he is skipping the American Express in California too. This could come as no surprise to some of his followers as Mcllroy has repeated the same pattern in the past few seasons. He always preferred to start his season on the DP World Tour, particularly in Dubai, where he feels right at home. Amidst all these, fans eager for McIlroy news have just received a new update.

The PGA Tour pro is set to collaborate with Grant Horvat, a prominent golf influencer, podcaster, and YouTube personality. This exciting news has generated a significant buzz in the golf world. Specifically, because they thought they would not be seeing him anytime before his TGL showdown. The 4x major’s BGC is set to compete against Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links GC on January 27th.

The news was first shared through Grant Horvat’s Instagram story, which had close to a million YouTube subscribers. Horvat posted an image with his arm around Rory Mcllroy’s shoulder, captioning it, “Tomorrow 12 pm EST @rorymcilroy.” Later, Nuclr Golf shared it on X and it looks like word has spread around pretty fast. Ask why?

Just a few hours after the collaboration news, a new video has surfaced on @NUCLRGOLF’s feed. The video showcases Grant Horvat completing his journey to 1M subscribers on his YouTube channel – Grant Horvat Golf. In the footage, the influencer expressed his delight as the number on the big screen shifted from 999,999 to a million! He then hugged and congratulated his two teammates present there, saying “Good Job!” Nuclr Golf, while posting the celebratory video, captioned the post as, “JUST IN: YouTube golf star @GrantHorvatGolf hits 1M subscribers.”

This was indeed a great success for Horvat. And it would not be wrong to say that Rory Mcllroy’s influence had an enormous hand in it. But at the same time, it is hard to ignore his past hard work and collaborations with some of the top golfers in the community.

Grant Horvat has collaborated with marquee names in golf before Rory Mcllroy

The four-time major winner is not the only high-profile player Horvat has collaborated with. Earlier this month, the influencer released his collaborating video with 15X Major winner Tiger Woods, featuring a golf lesson.

The list also had Horvat teamed up with LIV golfers Sergio Garcia and Jon Rahm, who joined him just a few months ago. He was also seen with other PGA Tour stars like Collin Morikawa and Tony Finau. And that’s not all! Before that, in November last year, the YouTuber again released a video with the six-time major winner, Phil Mickelson.

Social media is a big platform full of competitors, and it looks like Grant Horvat has just hacked the tricks to be on the top! Now, as we wait for the new Rory McIlroy video to be released, we would love to know how you are feeling about it. Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
