In a recent press conference, the former PGA Tour player was asked about his feelings on joining the 4Aces. Uihlein drew a comparison between the 4Aces and the renowned New York Yankees. “I’ve kind of said this before, but when they had an opening, they’re like the Yankees.”

Uihlein has replaced Taylor Gooch to be a member of the team. Additionally, team captain and equity holder, Johnson, feels that the team is better and stronger than last year.
Moreover, he also thinks that the 33-year-old is a really nice player and Johnson is happy to have him as a part of the team.
Dustin Johnson gave a warning to his former teammate
Gooch was a part of Dustin’s handpicked winning team in 2022. However, this season the 31-year-old switched teams and went to play with Harold Varner III.

Johnson handpicked his team in 2022, so obviously he was upset about his Gooch leave. However, he didn’t want him to force him to stay against his wishes. The former PGA Tour player had the right to make this switch so he is now a part of the Range Goats which is under the leadership of Bubba Watson.
Although the 2-time major champion is on good terms with Taylor, he did warn him about his decision to move. Dustin asked his former teammate to embrace the feeling of winning one last time as he won’t get that joy with his new team.
Well, it seems that the former world no.1 is pretty confident that his team will defend their title. But only time will tell who will be the champion team this year.
