The World No. 3’s withdrawal from Woods’ brainchild league was followed by the rising speculations of an alleged $600 million deal between him and the PIF-funded league. However, Homa decided to take on the responsibility of announcing the Spaniard’s supposed exit from the PGA Tour, hilariously no less, since neither the alternate circuit nor the golfer had made any official announcement regarding the rumored deal.

A post was uploaded to the American’s X handle as the golfer took up the chance to make comedic speculations surrounding the deal. Adding on, he mentioned how Shohei Ohtani, the golden boy of baseball has signed a deal with LIV while the 29-year-old Spanish golfer has become a part of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Known for his snarky and witty comments and posts online, the professional uploaded the same while dubbing it as “Breaking News” no less. Moreover, the 33-year-old did so since there was a lot of hype surrounding both the pros and their signings with the different franchises. And, he used his tweet to comically interchange the team and circuit that the two athletes are reportedly said to join. Hilarious, isn’t it?

Well, did the golf world react? You bet they did. The 6X PGA Tour champ’s post saw a lot of people engaging with the same as many responded to the tweet.
