Now, in a new update, the one-time major champion has broken the biggest news about her US Open title, only to refute it and make a hilarious exposition later. Here’s the full story. 

Missing mystery and a hilarious revelation

In a recent series of golfing events, veteran player Michelle Wie West updated her fans about her return visit to the Pinehurst resorts grounds, where she won her major title. The former US Women’s Open Champion posted pictures and videos from the venue on her IG story.

In one of the stories, Wie West posted about a missing memorabilia of hers. The 2014 US Women’s Open Champion trophy, which technically should have been showcased with the rest of the tourney trophies was missing from its place. West took to her IG and said, “Hmm one of the trophies is missing.”

The intrigue among the fans increased as in the video, the spot for the trophy could be seen with a name tag designating its place. But the trophy wasn’t there. Later, West posted another story from her room at the Pinehurst resort with a hilarious revelation. The golfer posted a clip of a card and the trophy in her room. The caption read“Oh, it’s in my room @pinehurstresort @USGA.”
