LPGA’s rising young moneymaker, Megan Khang, has had a fruitful 2023 season. After securing her first LPGA Tour win this year, the player has evidently been on an improvement roll. Currently, Khang is playing at the ANNIKA, driven by Gainbridge, and her performance on the greens in Florida has her in the top-10 after the third round.

As the player rakes the greens, intrigue about her golfing weapons increases, and we arrive at the scene with the rescue. Here’s a quick look at what the player is carrying in her 2023 golf bag.

Brand loyal to being a PGX staff player, Khang’s bag is a pure PGX sack with the addition of some TaylorMade and Titleist. When it comes to her clubs, the golfer carries a bag brimming with just her black PGX clubheads. For her driver, Khang uses a PXG 0311 GEN6 that comes at a market price of around $2,319. With the club head, the golfer uses a Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana’s fitted shaft, PD 5th Generation.

Khang analyzes her approach to the game ahead of her start and then makes sense of the course, especially the narrow fairways—something she has admitted to doing in her recent LPGA Tour tourneys. For a better result on the greens, Khang uses a PXG 0311 GEN6 fairway 3-wood that is priced at $589. With the clubhead, Khang’s shaft attachment is that of the Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana TB.

When it comes to her irons and fairway rescue clubs, the golfer uses TaylorMade GAPR Hi (3 & 4) with 19, and 22 degrees. Her preference for a clubhead, in this case, is a Graphite Design Tour AD UT Hybrid shaft.

Megan Khang’s irons, putters, and wedges

For her short hole and tee shots, Khang uses PXG 0211 ST (5-PW) irons that cost around $497. The golfer’s average driving distance is 256.55, so for a better swing, the golfer uses the clubhead with an Aerotech SteelFiber FC shaft.

Khang does not take any risks with her wedges. The golfer uses three golf clubs for her shot games, including the PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy Milled (52˚-10˚, 56˚-10˚, and 60˚). With this, the shaft that accompanies her is the same one she uses for her irons.

Khangs’ average putting score this LPGA Tour season has been 30.19. Irrespective of that, the player’s preferences for her putter haven’t changed. She uses a PXG Brandon Battle Ready for her game. And for her golf ball picks, the golfer has opted for this season’s top hit among most golfers, the Titleist Pro V1, priced at $55.
