Zac Blair is an American professional golfer, born on August 20, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The PGA Tour player turned pro in 2014 and also played on the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA Tour Latin America. The player is still awaiting his first win on the PGA Tour; however, he is leading at the 2024 Zurich Classic with Patrick Fishburn, a PGA Tour rookie. Blair and Fishburn had a 12-under day and could potentially lift the crystal Fleur-de-Lis trophy.
Blair attended Fremont High School in Plain City, Utah, and has completed his higher education at Brigham Young University. He started his golf career at the university and made his motto-“Big-time players make big-time putts.”

After playing for a while, his career faced a downtime when, in 2018, the golfer lost his PGA Tour card. Fortunately, on August 4, 2019, he triumphed at the Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae on the Korn Ferry Tour, getting back his lost card for that season. To date, his best finish was at T2 at the Travelers Championship in 2023 on the PGA Tour, and he is eyeing a potential victory in his ongoing championship at TPC Louisiana.
Blair has played a total of 184 golf events in his career on the PGA Tour, out of which he made the cut in 102. He has one runner-up finish and a third-place finish with eight top-ten finishes, according to his PGA Tour Player profile. Zac Blair experienced a few ups and downs in his golf career; however, the PGA Tour pro is blessed with a calm personal life and a supportive family to overcome all the huddles.
PGA Tour pro’s family and personal life
Zac Blair is not the only golfer in his family; his father, James Blair, also played for Brigham Young University from 1974–1977 and was also a part of the PGA Tour from 1981 and 2002. Sometimes, Blair even caddied for his dad, and his dream foursome includes his father as well, alongside Tiger Woods and Tom Brady. The golfer resides in St. George, UT, with his family, wife Alicia, his sons, Charles and William, and his dogs, Teddy Bear Blair and Piper. He celebrated his 9th anniversary last year in October and traveled the world along with his life partner. It seems like the happy family has it all!

Earlier this year, the player also announced a partnership with Boxwood Partners, a premier advisory firm in the middle-market sector. Throughout the PGA Tour season, Boxwood’s name will be featured on Blair’s golf apparel and mentioned in social media posts through the 2024 season, reaching a global audience of golf enthusiasts and business professionals alike. While playing on many golf courses throughout his career, Blair had always dreamed of having one of his own.
After discovering a 500-acre pine nursery property near Aiken, SC, Blair acquired the land in early 2020 and worked with well-known architects to transform it into a world-class golf course, The Tree Farm. The golf course reflects Blair’s passion for walking, fast play, head-to-head matches, and creative architecture. This project is focused on a national, young-in-age membership. “Zac’s ability to play golf at the highest level and realizing his vision of developing a unique world-class golf course with a fun, relaxed atmosphere demonstrates his core values and ability to overcome adversity,” said J. Patrick Galleher, Managing Partner at Boxwood.
