Tommy Fleetwood married his longtime manager, Clare Fleetwood, in 2017 despite the 23-year age gap, which at first had Clare Fleetwood deny his offer. Oscar Craig’s performance in UAE
In 2023, Oscar Craig played the inaugural First Point USA Event – Abu Dhabi Golf Club and carded his maiden victory as a junior golfer. This year, coming to defend his title, the amateur was coming off of a runner-up finish at the Sharjah International Amateur Championship and a solo fourth at the Montgomerie GC Dubai Men’s Open.
At the First Point USA Event, Craig scored 68 and 69 on Friday and Saturday at the National Course. On the final Sunday, he slipped to 75 and shot 4 under 212 to win with a six-shot margin over Rayan Ahmed. Following this, Craig was then in the field at the Ras Al Khaimah Men’s Open.

Craig on how Tommy Fleetwood helps him play better
In golf, parent caddying for their children becomes a norm, and Tommy Fleetwood fulfilled that responsibility. After taking the Ras Al Khaimah win, Craig shared that he has accompanied his stepdad on the Tour and has experienced the whole vibe of the professional games.
During his debut on the Challenge Tour, Craig, though nervous, revealed that having Fleetwood on the bag was very beneficial for him. Discussing it during the post-win interview of the Ras al-Khaimah Men’s Open, the 17-year-old said, “Obviously it helps experience-wise as he knows what he is doing. It also helps calm me down because he’s been through it all before. What he’s telling me I need to do to calm down, not even calm down, just manage my nerves in the right way, is really cool. That’s very beneficial.”

It indeed worked wonders for the amateur golfer. In the first round of the UAE Challenge, Craig shot three birdies at the fourth, 8th, and final hole. He eventually ended with a bogey-free 3 under 67 and tied for the 15th. Fleetwood, proud of how Craig played the first round, said, “Unbelievable, keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep playing like that. He’ll be just fine.”
