Jessica Hadwin can give her PGA Tour Pro husband a tough battle in popularity. Adam Hadwin’s wife is adored and acclaimed by the internet for her razor-sharp wit, which she calls ‘lame jokes’ by the way. Both have been spotted together several times and are very open about their relationship. But besides running the show on social media, Jessica Hadwin is a multitasking mother who also runs a charity. Here is everything you need to know about the 33-year-old.
Exploring Jessica Hadwin’s life and career
Jessica Hadwin was born on March 27, 1991, in Wichita, Kansas. She is an acute care nurse practitioner. It is not known if she was involved with her college sports team. But what we do know is that besides her job, she also runs the Hadwin Family Foundation, which she established with her husband.

The non-profit seeks to support families experiencing unforeseen medical hardships. Hadwin herself lost two pregnancies due to chromosomal abnormalities. They offer grants—named Maddie’s Miracle Grant after their daughter—to deserving families for in-vitro fertilization. The grants cover the retrieval and transfer processes of the IVF.
“Having Maddy’s Miracle Grant has really opened my eyes to how much that piece is weighted in the process. It’s make-or-break for most people,” Hadwin told the PGA Tour last year. The charity foundation is one of many milestones they have crossed in their decade-long partnership.
Jessica Hadwin is famous for her wit on social media
Funnily enough, most of the time, Hadwin’s hilarious banter comes at the cost of poking fun at her husband. Last year, Adam Hadwin was tackled at the RBC Canadian Open after security mistook him for an unruly fan trying to enter the greens. Hadwin was simply trying to congratulate his compatriot, Nick Taylor, on the thrilling Canadian Open triumph.
Jessica Hadwin later tweeted, “Sorry to leave y’all hanging; I had to get the toddler ready for bed. I’m thrilled to report that @ahadwingolf is still among the land of the living and, in true Canadian form, apologized to the security guard for being tackled.”
Interestingly, Jessica Hadwin also offered some crucial input into her husband’s game. At the U.S. Open last year, Hadwin was called out for slowing the group. Jessica, too, rebuked her husband for dithering, which she pointed out was impacting his performance. Adam Hadwin later recounted that entire incident in a chat with CBS broadcaster Amanda Balionis. Retweeting that clip, Jessica wrote, “Just doing my part in the battle against slow play in golf.”

In another instance, she threatened to ‘kill’ her husband when Adam Hadwin invited some friends over during the WM Phoenix Open. She warned that there should be no mess. Adam Hadwin later posted a screenshot of that conversation on X. But how did it all start? For that, we need to go back to 2014,2014, when Adam Hadwin was yet to win his PGA Tour card.
Timeline of Jessica and Adam Hadwin’s relationship
Jessica and Adam Hadwin met through a dating app in 2014. Hadwin was still playing on the Web.com Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour). In an interview with Golf.com, the one-time PGA Tour winner said, “Jess and I have always said we met in Wichita when I was playing an event, and we kind of just left it at that.”
But pressed further, the 36-year-old revealed that they were ‘tinder-matched. “We were Tinder-matched in Wichita, and we went out once when I was there that week (and) had dinner.” Hadwin tied the knot with Jessica on March 25, 2017, just three weeks after netting his first PGA Tour victory.
Sharing a picture, Adam Hadwin captioned, “You know, it’s funny. It’s been almost three years how since we met, and I don’t think we’ve gone a day without talking..” Celebrating their seventh anniversary, Hadiwn posted on his Instagram handle, “Happy 7th anniversary to the smoke show who keeps our lives together!! Love you, @jessicahadwin ”. The couple also welcomed a new member to their family four years ago.

Jessica Hadwin and her PGA Tour Pro husband welcomed their firstborn on January 8, 2020. Taking a cue from Tiger Woods’s famous press conference in 1996, Hadwin posted a picture of the newborn, captioning, “Hello World! Maddox Amelia Hadwin. Born January 8, 2020. 7lbs 1oz.” The University of Louisville alum took a short break for a few weeks from the greens.

Both Hadwin and his wife, occasionally, post pictures of Maddox. Notably, the three-year-old donned the white jumpsuit of caddies at the Augusta National Golf Course this year. In the par-3 contest, which is traditionally a family affair for the professional golfer, Maddox was pictured with Charlie Taylor, son of fellow PGA Tour pro, Nick Taylor.
Adam Hadwin and Jessica share a beautiful life. Jessica Hadwin accompanies her husband whenever she gets an off from the call of duty. Although she likes to put ‘Mom’ in her social media bio, that isn’t her only identity.
