‘Maybe I Cried Because Two Minutes’: Paige Spiranac Once Made a Fan Delete a Tweet With a Heartfelt Reply

Let’s take a look back at one such incident from earlier this year, when Spiranac decided to clap back at a hater with a heartfelt tweet.

Being titled a social media influencer, Paige Spiranac has got several endeavors on the internet. Apart from millions of followers across all social media platforms, the 29-year-old also happens to be the host of her podcast, ‘Playing A Round With Paige Renee.’

Earlier this year, Spiranac was promoting an episode of her golf podcast on her Twitter account. However, after being excited in the video, her mood was drastically brought down by a bunch of tweets from her haters. Nonetheless, deeming Spiranac’s bold personality, she didn’t settle for any such hate and clapped back at one of them.

Paige Spiranac recalls a dark moment while calling out her hater

In the video released after the 2022 Masters, Spiranac talked about her podcast, her towels, and much more. The social media influencer seemed to have been excited while sharing the details in the video. However, as she posted it on Twitter, one of her followers dropped a tweet about her body.

“Paige, I get your audience are a bunch of male de***s but you don’t always needs to push out the TOBs”, wrote the fan. However, another man replied to the tweet by attacking Spiranac with a tweet of his own. He tweeted, “Don’t be mean to her. She will cry all over the tv about how people only talk about her b***s, while getting a playing exemption”.

The hater was referring to the 2016 Dubai Omega Ladies Masters, where the former pro golfer teared up while speaking during the press conference. According to Spiranac, she was getting cyber bullied, with even her parents receiving unwanted hate. Following the haters’ tweet, Spiranac had a heartfelt response.

She tweeted, “Or maybe I cried because two minutes before I stepped on stage for the press conference I was being blackmailed over stolen private property and people were threatening my life”. Fans flooded in with support for the former pro golfer.

Moreover, the heavy criticism was more than enough for the hater, as he decided to delete the mean tweet. Paige Spiranac has always been an advocate for cyberbullying. Undoubtedly, it will be quite a challenge for any hater to get under her skin. Nonetheless, she has proved time and time again how to deal with such people.
