Max Homa is one of the most prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. Recently, Homa, along with Collin Morikawa, has been honored with two endowments by Cal Golf. The men’s team announced that there will be a Max and Lacey Homa and Collin Morikawa Endowed Scholarships at the Golden Bear’ annual Cal Golf Tournament.
Cal Golf is a golf team at the University of California, Berkeley. Both Homa and Morikawa are alumni of this college. Hence, they honored these two golfers by endowing scholarships by their names.

Max Homa thanks Cal Golf on Twitter
Recently, Cal Golf shared a tweet announcing the scholarships in the name of Max Homa, his wife Lacey Homa, and Collin Morikawa. Hence, Max Homa thanked Cal Golf and said. “This is one of the coolest things I could ever imagine being a part of.”
“Thank you so much to Cal Golf for continuing to provide the resources to help people like Collin Morikawa and myself accomplish their goals.”
Max Homa has a degree in consumer behavior and graduated in 2013. Moreover, Homa also had a great stint as a golfer at Cal. He was crowned with Pac-12 and NCAA individual Championships in 2013. Furthermore, he was also named to the All-Nicklaus Team and is also a three-time member of the All-Pac-12 Team.

Meanwhile, Morikawa graduated from the University of California, Berkley in 2019. He had an excellent collegiate career as he won the 2019 Pac-12 Championship individual medal and Pac-12 player of the year award.

Moreover, he was also the 2018 Golf week National Player of the year. Morikawa finished his collegiate career with five victories overall in 48 stroke-play events.
Hence, to honor these incredible golfers, Cal Golf has started this scholarship. Moreover, these two golfers have also shown their support towards Cal men’s golf program. So they endowed a scholarship to thank Homa and Morikawa for all the things which they have done for Cal golf.
