A partnership that defined almost three decades! The alliance between Nike and Tiger Woods finally came to an end a little while ago. Although speculations had arisen regarding the split back when he started using another brand on the greens, the goodbye came as a surprise to many in the community. But he wasn’t alone in doing so. Now, enter Matthew Wolff!

An update was shared on X by the 24-year-old’s fan page. The post talks about how the golfer would not be seen wearing Taylormade and Swoosh products while donning the RangeGoats GC gear. Moreover, he is slated to use “whatever equipment he feels is best,” possibly turning to FootJoy as his choice of kicks.

Adding on, the tweet also mentioned how the California native would be playing the next season with a Ping g-430 club. Anyhow, the 2019 3M Open champ’s fan page made sure to point out and highlight the “freedom” that he would enjoy while participating in the next edition of the PIF-funded circuit in 2024.

The two had started their partnership in 2019, and he was always spotted wearing the brand from head to toe. But a recent video of him playing at Medalist on January 6, wearing a plain black hat, a polo shirt, black pants, and white footwear without any distinctive Swoosh logo, sent the golf world into a frenzy.

The golfer joined the likes of Jason Day and Woods, as the former had already split up with the iconic brand as well not too long ago. Nevertheless, the latter ending the alliance with Nike, which saw a fruitful 27 years, was nothing short of surprising, despite there being rising speculations regarding the same.
