The leaderboard at the 2024 Masters has been “Schefflered”, to say the least. After 54 holes, it’s the 2022 Masters winner who is leading the field at the Augusta National. Interestingly, the top five on the leaderboard are all solos without any ties, and at this point, it can be anyone’s game. While Scottie Scheffler will be eyeing his second green jacket, many will be aiming for their first.

The likes of Max Homa, Bryson DeChambeau, and debutant Ludvig Aberg are the few in contention for the green jacket at this season’s first major. If you’re wondering when their final rounds will start, read ahead to explore it all!

When will Scottie Scheffler tee it up?

Bryson DeChambeau had a spectacular start at this year’s Masters as he sat at the top of the leaderboard on the very first day, and then later shared the No. 1 spot on the following day. However, in the third round, the nine-time PGA Tour winner dropped to the fifth position. Whereas World No. 1 cemented his position as he took the lead after shooting 1 under 71 in the third round. If Scheffler is able to defend his position on the final day, then it will be his third victory in the last four starts. The previous wins came at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and then THE Players Championship.

As the leaderboard has shuffled after 54 holes, the final round will see new pairings. Scheffler has been paired with Collin Morikawa, who is one stroke behind him and the two will tee it up at 2:35 P.M. ET. Whereas, Max Homa and Ludvig Aberg, who have secured a solo 3rd and 4th, respectively, are paired together to play 10 minutes prior to Scheffler-Morikawa tee times.

DeChambeau will find a partner with T6 Xander Schauffele and they will hit the first shot at 1;25 P.M. But the round will be opened with 2000 Masters winner Vijay Singh and 1-time PGA Tour winner Adam Hadwin, scheduled for 9:15 A.M.

The fresh pairings for the final round were quite interesting, as some LIV Golf and PGA Tour pros will be playing together after many months. However, amongst all the pairs, one is the most unique and will also be part of the featured group. An Augusta veteran and an Augusta debutant will tee off together on the final day.

Tiger Woods and Neal Shipley paired for the final round

The Masters started with five amateur golfers in the 89-player field. However, after 54 holes, only one has survived. The 2024 U.S. Amateur runner-up is Neal Shipley. Shipley shot rounds of 71-76-80 to be tied at 52 with five others. One of them was Tiger Woods, who made history for 24 consecutive cuts at the Masters.

As the two on the same position, Woods and Shipley will be playing together at 9:35 a.m. and will be the third group on the list. Woods will not be donning the green jacket this year. However for the amateur, regardless of how the Masters end, he will be allowed in the Butler Cabin for the green jacket ceremony and will surely remember the Sunday round for the better of his life.
