Friday marked the second day of the 2024 Masters. It began with the completion of the remaining part of the first round, followed by the second round. Although Bryson DeChambeau was in the lead after the first round with a 7-under, it looks like he has some serious competition ahead!
Max Homa, earlier in the 4th position, and Scottie Scheffler, earlier in the 2nd position, after the second round, both the golfers climbed up the leaderboard to end up in a tie for the first position with Bryson DeChambeau. They bagged a score of 1-under 72 to meet DeChambeau, who was at 1-over 73. With the weather conditions, the Masters have been peculiarly challenging to keep up with this year. However, there is one thing that has remained pretty exciting: the tee pairings!

For the third round of the Masters 2024, the pairings do indeed appear to be promising. However, some of the pairings are such that they have been exuding undeniable confidence.
Top pairings to look out for in the third round
The most-awaited pairing for the third round begins at 2:45 pm. This is when two among the three golfers sharing the lead on the leaderboard will go against each other. Bryson DeChambeau and Max Homa’s pairing is going to be a battle to dethrone one of them from the lead. While Homa went about carding two birdies at the Pink Dogwood and the Flowering Crab Apple, DeChambeau got his way with the tougher holes, bagging birdies at the last two holes of the Amen Corner.

The next pairing to look out for will be that of Scottie Scheffler and Nicolai Hojgaard. Although Scottie Scheffler managed to come up to the top, Hojgaard has been keeping up pretty close to it. In the second round, he was just one stroke away from tying for the first position, bagging the same score as The Scientist. And, well, not to forget Mr. T, which is also an anticipated game. After bagging the record of being the first player to make the cut for 24 consecutive years in the history of golf, Tiger Woods will be going against Tyrell Hatton, who has tied for the 24th position.
