It feels like just yesterday when we were all eagerly awaiting the 2025 Masters, and now, here we are heading into the third round. The second round wrapped up on Friday, narrowing the field to the top 53 golfers for the weekend. Justin Rose (-8) remains in the lead after two rounds, with Bryson DeChambeau (-7), Rory McIlroy (-6), and Scottie Scheffler (-5) all hot on his heels after strong performances in the first 36 holes. On the other hand, favourites Brooks Koepka (+5) and Phil Mickelson (+5) didn’t make the cut this year, which was a surprise for many.

Rose and DeChambeau, both U.S. Open champs, will tee off in Saturday’s final pairing at 2:40 p.m. ET. But don’t count out Rory McIlroy—he came in strong on Friday with a 66, the lowest round of the day. McIlroy is aiming for that elusive Masters win to complete his career Grand Slam. He’ll be playing alongside Canada’s Corey Conners. McIlroy and Conners are just two shots off the lead, so this could get interesting.
