Paige Spiranac reveals her daunting first pitch in Milwaukee

Having never pitched a baseball in her life, Spiranac was visibly terrified of making a joke of herself in the process of throwing the first pitch. “I was in Milwaukee recently, I threw out the first pitch at a Brewers game, which was terrifying, to say the least,” she said.

She further revealed her fears of the unknown and how she didn’t want to embarrass herself in front of everyone at the stadium. “I was literally waking up in cold sweats, being like don’t [be] 50 Cent.” Spiranac was referring to American rapper 50 Cent’s first pitch in 2014 that went wayward to the left at the Citi Field.

Spiranac also revealed that she searched for the worst pitches on the internet to keep tabs on her confidence! “I was like YouTubing the worst pitches of all time,” she revealed. “It was horrible. I’ve never been so nervous to do something in my entire life.”

How did Spiranac end up on the first pitch?

Sporting the number 22 on the back, a confident-looking Spiranac stepped up to take the pitch. While it wasn’t the best pitches you’ll see in MLB, it was all right in her opinion. “I ended up doing okay, and I was so worried that I was going to do something so embarrassing and horrible and that people were gonna make fun of me about it,” she later said.

Spiranac also revealed that she was offered the first pitch in multiple games in the past, but she turned those down due to her fear of embarrassment. She disclosed her experiences in the latest video on her YouTube channel.
