It is time for some fun as LIV Golf now looks for a long season break! The 2024 season of the breakaway circuit ended at the Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas after the all Aussie team, Ripper GC, won the Team Championship and lifted the silver cup on the podium. It was a celebration to be seen as all the golfers enjoyed it with their families, while Marc Leishman recreated a scene from the 2023 Ryder Cup.

The 40-year-old did not have his wife and children on the course, so what did he do? He became the 2023 Viktor Hovland or the 2016 Rickie Fowler as his teammates embraced their partners and he humorously looked somewhere else. Fans absolutely loved the wit of the Aussie, but just hours later, Leishman became his team’s target of trolling, all fun though. Ripper GC posted nine memes of Leishman and how he stood in the previous group photo, captioned it, “Blimey – Leish gets about a bit.” Once he was standing at a construction site in New York from the black and white era.

In the next slide, he was at the Opera House in Sydney, followed by becoming a teammate with Niel Armstong to be on the moon. And the team did not stop making fun of Leishman just there. Through the various memes, he was there when Alfred Eisentaedi clicked a sailor kissing a nurse on V-J Day in 1945 at Times Square. Leishman also stood at a tennis match, in front of the natural wonder Uluru dome in Kata Tjuta National Park of Australia, in a football stadium, and lastly, at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne.

The fans loved the sequence of Leishamn memes this time too, as many called the joke a “brilliant” idea while many others laughed it off. But it was not the first time that the 40-year-old pro became the center for Ripper GC’s hilarious trolls. It looks like it has been a trend for Leishman to be alone at events.

Days before Marc Leishman’s team won the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas, they were at the LIV Golf Team Championship’s welcome party, and without a doubt, Leishamn was alone. While posing for the press photos, the Aussie pro acted as if he had his hand around someone, probably his wife, Audrey Leishman, as she was in Virginia.

So, taking a twist on the photo, Ripper GC once again edited the picture in a way that it looked like Leishman had a beer can around his arms. Not just that, it was a beer can of his own company, the Leishman Lager, and wrote in the caption, “Fixed it for you Leish.” Even his wife, Audrey, commented on the post and jokingly said, “The true love of his life.” 

Although Leishman has been one to be made fun of, it is all done humorously and the way he bonds with his team; it does not look like he takes it seriously himself.
