Man Whose Sudden Disappearance Caused Commotion at the LIV Greenbrier Event Found Dead at Lewisburg

The Greenbrier Event, which came to an end this past Sunday, has ignited a storm of emotions. From the exhilarating victory of Bryson DeChambeau to the event’s overwhelming success, it has sparked an intense whirlwind of discussions. However, there is one news story that appears to have taken over everything else. 

Jarred Schultz, 39, of Barboursville, West Virginia, who traveled to attend the event, went missing and was later found dead. The police has now found the deceased’s body. What exactly happened to Schultz? Let’s understand the story right from the very beginning.

Jarred Schultz went missing on Saturday

Schultz, accompanied by his friend Bart, arrived at the event to witness his favorite golfers in action on the greens. However, a surprising turn of events occurred after the second round of the Greenbrier Event when Schultz mysteriously disappeared. Following the conclusion of the round, he returned to the hotel. However, instead of calling it a day, Schultz and his friend decided to visit the Brier Patch Bar & Grill, located near a Super 8 in Lewisburg.

They stayed there till the evening. While on a call, Bart saw him in the parking lot buts shortly afterward, as he turned around, Schultz was nowhere to be seen. After an extensive search, law enforcement discovered Schultz’s dead body on Monday in a wooded area near Interstate 64 and Route 219 in Lewisburg.

The Lewisburg Police Department immediately released an updated statement to provide the latest information on the case. The news was then also shared on Twitter by NUCLR Golf to ensure that the golfing world was aware of the latest development. 

In the statement, the Lewisburg police department has clarified that there are no signs of foul play, alleviating any lingering suspicions surrounding the circumstances of Schultz’s death. 

Schultz’s wife posted a heartfelt note on Facebook, enquiring about her missing husband’s whereabouts

Schultz’s wife Lauren Schultz took to Facebook to express her concern about her missing husband. In her heartfelt post, she requested any information regarding her husband. Schultz was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt, a blue hat, and gray shorts.
