The USGA recognizes various world-class golf facilities in the United States. Among the various famous golf courses that the governing body probably considers the best is the Pebble Beach Golf Links. The United States Golf Association recently made a massive announcement regarding Pebble Beach.

Pebble Beach Golf Links is probably among the best layouts in America. Moreover, the golf course hosts the famous event on the PGA Tour, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. On top of that, the brilliant golf course has now joined the likes of Pinehurst, Oakmont, and Shinnecock Hills. The exemplary layout will host numerous events governed by USGA along with R&A.

Furthermore, the governing body recently announced exciting news for the golf course. On April 20th, in a news conference, the famous body announced the single- most extensive package of championships that will take place at the historic golf club. Apart from the 2021 Women’s U.S. Open and 2027 U.S. Open, six more events were added to the calendar in the 2040s.
Moreover, the golf course will not host the U.S. Opens in 2032, 2037, and 2044. On top of that, the U.S. Women’s Open in 2035, 2040, and 2048. The first USGA event at the golf course was held in 1929. Furthermore, Pebble Beach has hosted 13 major championship events, including six U.S. Opens.
In addition to the events added to the course in California, the governing body also declared that it will host U.S. Open and the U.S. Senior Open in back-to-back weeks down the road at Spyglass Hill in 2030. Even USGA’s chief championship officer John Bodenhamer spoke beautiful words about the golf course. He said, “Arguably, the greatest walk in golf.”

Golf fans from all over the globe started to react to the news regarding Pebble Beach Golf Links. A few of the fans supported the organization’s decision. At the same time, other fans did not seem to be happy.

My unpopular opinion is I hate the US Open at Pebble. It's not long enough and they don't grow the rough anymore. I hate watching -12 win the US Open. Keep it at places like Oakmont, Oakland Hills, Torey, Shinnecock and Winged Foot that have proven to hold up. Or grow rough…

Who won the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am?
The 2022 edition of the event was won by Tom Hoge. The American professional won the event with an overall score of 19-under-par. As a result, Tom won the event by a two-shot margin. Hodge carded a final round of four-under-par, 68 to finish on the top of the leaderboard. His final round of 68 included three birdies, one double bogey, and a single bogey on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in level-par, 36. Moreover, he made four birdies on the back nine to make the turn n four-under-par, 36.
However, Jordan Spieth finished as the runner-up to Hoge. He ended the event with an overall score of 17-under-par. As a result, Jordan had to settle for a solo second position. Spieth carded a final round of three-under-par, 69 on Sunday at Pebble Beach.
