England’s Charley Hull is back in action once again for the LPGA’s JM Eagle LA Championship. Hull, who failed to make the cut at Chevron Championship last week, will want to bounce back into form this time around.
The 27-year-old shows off her golfing acumen on Instagram often, leaving fans wanting for more. On Friday, she shared yet another update with her followers, prompting them to ask for “lesson videos” from the LPGA star.

The likes of Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, Jin Young Ko, and more are currently in Los Angeles for the inaugural edition of the JM Eagle LA Championship. The 144-player field also boasts England’s Charley Hull, whose missed cut at the first Major of the season disappointed many of her die-hard fans.
The World No. 17, however, appears to be in a positive headspace for the ongoing event in Los Angeles. Looking as impeccable as always, she took to Instagram to share a video of her sensational swing from the familiar Wilshire Country Club turf.

“When are you going to do drills/lesson videos? ❤️ 🔥,” commented one impressed fan. “Charley, a super swing. God bless, Steve🎚🏋🏼🙏🌺,” wrote another, showering praise on her golfing chops.
“She makes it look so easy getting out of the bunker,” expressed one golfing enthusiast. Fans also wished her luck for the tournament, with one saying, “Love that little leg kick at the end, good luck this weekend ❤️.” “Come on Charley back in the top 10😊,” wished one fan of the English golfer. “Best of Luck Go Get it Charley💪”
The golfer is also known for attracting much praise because of her style on the course. “That hoodie is awesome!” read a comment. “Pretty in pink ❤️.” The JM Eagle LA Championship has been full of surprises, with world no. 358 Linnea Johansson currently in the lead. She carded an impressive 7-under 64 in the opening round to register a one-stroke lead over Gemma Dryburgh.
What is the prize purse at the JM Eagle LA Championship?
With 37 from the top 50 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking among the 144-player field, the 2023 JM Eagle LA Championship promises much excitement to LPGA fans. Last week’s Chevron Championship winner Lilia Vu has also returned for the tournament and will want to keep her momentum rolling. She is also joined by runner-up Angel Yin, World No. 1 Nelly Korda, and World No. 3 Jin Young Ko, among others.
The event boasts a prize purse of $3 million, and the winner will walk away with $450,000 in earnings. The second-place winner will earn $282,977 for their performance. In other perks, the victorious player will also be rewarded 500 points toward the season-long race to the CME Globe. They will also receive a two-year exemption on the Tour and berths into other notable events.
