Or as one fan put it, “Zero players would want Scottie’s year over Xander. Xander isn’t as well liked”, while the other said, “Crazy. The majors are the only tourney all the best players play together. Those should outweigh everything else”. Well, while it is controversial to say that Scottie Scheffler had a better year than Xander Schauffele – the numbers and accolades seem to agree. Both American golfers had incredible 2024 seasons, with Schauffele winning two majors, including the Open and the PGA Championship, while Scheffler, the world No. 1, won an impressive eight events, including the Masters Tournament.
