The 2024 LPGA Tour is well underway and Lydia Ko has had a stellar start! The 26-year-old started the year with a bang by winning the LPGAT season opener Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Now she has secured the top spot at the LPGA Drive On Championship.

And the equipment she uses plays a vital role in her recent success. The LPGA Tour star prefers to use clubs made by the golf equipment brand Ping. Let’s look into what clubs she is carrying that will further propel her to victory!

A deep dive into Lydia Ko’s bag

The 20x LPGA Tour winner is one of the most decorated players in the history of the LPGA. And she has to thank her trusted golf clubs for it. For her driver, the LPGA Tour star uses PING G430 LST Driver with Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana GT 50 S shaft. She prefers a loft of 10.5 degrees on her driver. The driver costs around $579.99.

For her fairway wood, Ko is using PING G430 Max Fairway Woods with Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana PD 60 S shaft. She equips her fairway wood with a 15-degree loft. She also uses the same model for her 5-wood, just with an 18-degree lofted head.

For her irons, she uses PING i230 (5-iron to 7-iron) and PING Blueprint S (8-iron & 9-iron), with Aerotech SteelFiber fc 70 shafts. The i230 irons cost around $200 and the Blueprint S costs around $230.

What wedges and putter does the LPGA Tour star use?

While Lydia Ko has been consistently opting for Ping, the story changes for her wedges. She uses Titleist Vokey Design SM9 Wedges (46 degrees, 48 degrees, 54 degrees, and 58 degrees). She has coupled her 46-degree wedge with Aerotech SteelFiber FC 70 and the rest of the wedges with FC 80 shafts.

Furthermore, the LPGA Tour player uses Titleist’s sub-brand for her putters. She uses Scotty Cameron TourType SSS TG6 Putter to sink the balls.
