In this world of economic progress, there’s a certain cachet that comes with being a pro golfer. Several PGA Tour and LPGA Tour players have long been affiliated with billion-dollar giants for endorsements. Legends such as Tiger Woods and Michelle Wie West have Nike Golf, while Jessica Korda and Justin Thomas have FootJoy.
However, with the need for awareness, LPGA Golfers now have an array of new sponsors that they feel heartily motivated to promote. There is a solid reason behind that, let’s take a look at what it is.
This is why LPGA Golfers are featuring several new logos this season

Supporting local businesses not only helps bring more revenue to the minor competitors of major brands but also contributes to the country’s economy. Not to mention, most small businesses provide a personal touch that the million and billion-dollar industries have lost.
This is precisely why American Express invested in a logo space wherein they can connect pro athletes to local businesses that need help and sometimes hold special significance to the player. In the past year, french pro golfer Celine Boutier partnered with a local business of confectioneries and loved it.
“I really like food and I was able to partner with C. Cups Cupcakery,” she said as reported by Golf Digest. “It was really cool to visit their store, try their cupcakes and promote their business as I was genuinely excited about their product.”
Following her example, several other pro golfers on the LPGA Tour have signed on to sport new logos and promote small businesses associated with the American Express logo venture. Lexi Thompson, Mina Harigae, Georgia Hall, Lydia Ko, Gabi Ruffels, and Gaby Lopez are some of the golfers involved in the noble initiative.
Each female golfer will wear the logos proudly and promote these institutions. Fans are eager to find out how much their favorite celebs love their new brands.
The affiliations are decided and the players are excited
After endorsing her cupcake adventure last year, Boutier is ready to move on to another local business: L’Escargot. The restaurant has survived many ups and downs over the years, making it the longest-running eatery near Ocean Avenue. It is located in Carmel in a nook on Mission Street. The pro golfer is excited to visit the restaurant and try their delicacies. Given her love for food, it seems like a perfect fit.
Lexi Thompson is accentuating the Carmel-based boutique for dogs and cats named Diggidy Dog. She loves the endorsement as her Havanese Poodle Leo is her darling friend. She is proud to represent the brand.
Mina Harigae has a little personal agenda to promote her family restaurant Takara Sushi. It is a small business, and what good is her fame if she cannot bring a little help to her parent’s establishment? She is proud of them and wants to showcase their logo to the world.
Georgia Hall is featuring yet another restaurant called Lafayette Bakery and Cafe, a family-run French business. The restaurant is one of the few places that features authentic French food. Maybe Boutier will promote their brand next year.
Lydia Ko is promoting an athleisure store named The Treadmill. She seems happy with the decision. No doubt a little shopping awaits the New Zealander.

Gabi Ruffels has fondly taken to Lula’s Chocolates. Her new brand and Hall’s French business have planned a special offer to further continue the opportunity of large-scale promotion with free gifts on purchases. The deal is already underway and will end on 9th July 2023.
Gaby Lopez is promoting a rather adorable family-run business from Carmel that is dedicated to making their neighborhood homes more beautiful. Tancredi & Morgen sells aesthetically inspiring goods and pieces with special significance to delightful customers. Lopez’s home is probably going to get a makeover with the wide array of available products from the local store.
These ladies are working toward making America great with their contribution.
