The LPGA Tour has been flourishing with the success of numerous talented women onboard. Be it Nelly Korda’s strong finishes, or Lexi Thompson’s remarkable victories, fans love watching the golfers in action. However, another important name in the LPGA Tour fraternity is Lydia Ko, who is not only an amazing player but also a jolly soul. Moreover, her fun personality was clearly seen in a recent Instagram story reshared by Nelly Korda.
Lydia Ko laughs out loud with Nelly Korda at the HSBC Women’s Champions
Ko is one of the most talented players on the LPGA Tour as of now. The 25-year-old has made a great name for herself at such a young age. She even became the youngest player to reach world no. 1 at the age of just 17 back in 2015. However, Ko is still as amazing as she has always been when it comes to golf. But growing up has made no difference to the kid she is at heart.

A recent Instagram story shared by HSBC Women’s Golf featured Ko and Korda along with some other players. The golfers are seen having fun and setting flowers in each other’s hair as a ritual. However, it just seems extremely funny to Ko to look at herself wearing the flower as she did. “I look like I walked out of a jungle,” she said right before bursting loudly into laughter. And of course, her infectious laugh got everyone else in the room giggling as well.
Ko reshared the story and tagged Korda saying “Love You @nellykorda”. While the Olympic gold medalist shared Ko’s story on her Instagram account and said, “Psh.. I think you looked mighty fineeeeeee”. Korda and Ko share a beautiful bond with each other on and off the field. Both golfers are currently playing at the HSBC Women’s Champions tournament and have similar tee times at 6:55 am.

The fans are eager to see their favorite players claim the title at the event. Ko recently tied for 6th at the Thailand LPGA tournament, while USA’s Lilia Vu won. But this week might prove to be a game-changer for the golfer. Ko and Korda are currently headlining the tournament with nine out of the top 10 players in the world present on the field. “You can never get too cocky about what ranked player you are because it’s so tight at the top,” Ko said this week.
