The LPGA has reached the island country of Korea for the BMW Ladies Championship. Round two has concluded with Minjee Lee leading the scoreboard. Amidst the fiery gameplay, Angel Yin and Jenny Shin indulged in some fun.

Shin was jumping with excitement as she unleashed the birdie on her last hole of day two. However, as per Shin, the putt was not the reason she celebrated so excitedly. To our disappointment, we don’t know yet what it was all about.

Jenny Shin wins a challenge against Angel Yin?

A veteran of massive experience backing herself against a 25-year-old with a recent victory in her bag! They challenged each other at Seowon Hills, Republic of Korea.

A recent video shared by the LPGA Instagram handle showed Jenny Shin and Angel Yin attempting to lighten the competition atmosphere and enjoy while playing for the trophy. 

Shin made a birdie putt and jumped up in excitement and hugged Yin thereafter. As she explained in her stories, Shin claimed, “No, I do not get this excited over a birdie. I was playing Angel Yin for something and I was happy I didn’t lose.”

The 2x LPGA winner was over the moon with her excitement, but it was a light-hearted banter between the two golfers. They have yet not shared what the challenge was actually about. Nonetheless, we are happy to see the pros enjoying their matches while having a good time.

Angel Yin shines at the Buick LPGA Shanghai

After the second round of the BMW Ladies Championship, Jenny stands tied at twelve and Yin at seven. Yin had previously won the Buick LPGA Shanghai and claimed her first-ever LPGA Tour victory. 

The 25-year-old was over the moon as she grabbed the trophy by defeating Lilia Vu in the play-off. This was after she had played 159 events on the tour. With the pump and motivation from the last event, Yin is contending to win this cup and move ahead in the Race to CME Globe Champion points list.

Shin is a champion in her own right having braved mental health issues in recent years. Her performance too has been on the up in the last few weeks.
