Alison Lee, a well-known name on the LPGA circuit, is slowly rising through the ranks of the golfing world. Although the American golfer only has a single professional win coming off the LET at the 2021 Aramco Team Series-Sotogrande, she has made herself a favorite among many in the community through her active social life.

As of now, the 28-year-old, in the wake of an amazing performance at the BMW Ladies Championship, appears to be on the path to greatness and glory. However, she needs ample support along the journey. Although the professional should be credited for reaching where she is today, there is another person whose role can never be discounted—none other than her caddie!

Even the sole win in the European Tour was only possible for the 1X LET champ due to the support she received from her on-course partner, Tyler Ekenberg. He grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Ekenberg was a former golfer and has managed to garner some accolades for his name as well.

While playing the sport as a profession, he met Lee in 2015 at the CME Group Tour Championships. Although the golfer could only finish tied at T44, scoring 2-under 287, she managed to get something else out of the tournament as the meet-up led to Ekenberg entering the field of caddying later on in his career, and that too as the former’s looper.

The caddie enjoys the game of golf very much and has managed to work in many different positions in the industry before turning to the bags. Aside from work, the athlete-turned-looper loves to spend a lot of time on his favorite golf course in San Francisco, the Olympic Club.
