The Shriners Children’s Open saw the 28-year-old failing to make the cut. The LPGA Tour Pro registered scores of 73 and 69 in her two rounds, due to which she couldn’t make the cut at the event. However, forgetting the depressing result, the 1X major winner was spotted sharing an update on her life on Instagram.

A series of pictures were uploaded on her social media handle showcasing frames of the smiling golfer among others. Moreover, the snaps were shared with the caption “Amazing getaway to Canada,” specifying the location of the pictures all the while sharing a pic of herself with the maple leaf, the symbol of the country.

The update came as a relief of sorts to her fans who were worried about Thompson following the loss she suffered at Shriners. No one would blame her for taking a much-needed rest now, would they?
