With so many eyes on the golf legend, Wie West somehow fell short of making the cut at the 78th US Women’s Open. She finished the game at 14 over par after Day 2 of the tournament. Even though the finish wasn’t ideal, her 30-foot putt provided a glimpse into the caliber of the icon.

Irrespective of the result, Wie has been a crucial part of the game past several years. It’s undeniable. Her 2014 US Open victory and other competitions are sure to inspire the younger generations.
