Being 30 weeks along and still giving it all to the game, proves her passion for the sport and serves as an inspiration for other female golfers. The soon-to-be 31-year-old golfer qualified for the majors at Somerset Country Club while she was six months pregnant.

She has battled with other golfers on the green and outperformed them to finish top two in the rankings. And now, as the major approaches, all eyes are already on her.

It also seems like Olson too is very excited for the major to start. She recently shared her happiness with Golfweek stating: “It’s one of those memories I’ll talk about forever…and the fact that it’s at Pebble is really cool.”

Beth Ann Nichols, senior writer at Golfweek, also turned to Twitter to share this news.

“Amy Olson prepares to play in U.S. Women’s Open while seven months pregnant.”:

“The fact that there will be two of us walking down the fairway together, that’s pretty awesome.”

Is Amy Olson planning to continue golfing post-pregnancy?

It seems like Olson, who hasn’t found any victories on the Tour yet, is non-committal about her post-pregnancy schedule. Since the LPGA Tour Championship is in mid-November and her due date is in September, she might not choose to play for the remaining season.

If this happens, there could be two possibilities. Either she won’t make a comeback or she would play only fewer games in the future. Nevertheless, as she seems quite excited about her to-be-born baby, she might take a break from the game after playing this one.
