Charley Hull is one of the most prestigious golfers for the European squad, and her contribution in competing against Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson, and other American big names will be exquisite. For this, it is essentially for her to be at 100%, but sadly, the golfer is just at 80%.

The golfer made her way to Finca Cortesin and was the only European golfer to have sat out of the Tuesday practice. She shared that the previous week, she injured her back while picking up her golf bag, and her head felt dizzy after experiencing a weird pressure. The plane ride to Spain made her pain worse, as she slept weirdly and blocked a nerve. As a result, she sprained her neck.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports on Wednesday, she revealed that she “sprained” her neck, and it is still a “little bit swollen.” The interviewer asked Hull if she was able to swing at 100%, and the English golfer shared, expressing her neck pain, that she was able to swing and play at her 80% capacity.

She said, “Swinging at like 80 percent as it hurts some of my tilts on the way down, but I’m hitting it good, considering.” The golfer made her way to Wednesday practice and practiced for nine holes. Not only Hull, but her caddie is not very healthy at the moment. But the golfer had a fun solution to beat her caddie’s health woes.

Hull offers an insight into her caddie’s health

While talking to Sky Sports, the golfer talked about how the golf course is very hilly and the conditions are tough. She said that although she has been doing a lot of fitness recently, as a sportsperson, a big walk on the hilly surfaces should not hurt as much.

Then the interviewer asked her about her caddie and how it would be for him, to which Hull replied that even though he is not on the fitter side as of now, at the same time she shared the solution to get her bagman better: “My caddie is not on the fit side, but get a few beers down him every night and he will be fine!”
